Profile

Usama A. Khashaba was born in Egypt, May 20, 1962. He recived the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Zagazig University, Zagazig, Egypt, in 1985, 1989, and 1993 respectively.

Since 1985 he hae the following appointments: 1985-1990 Teaching Assistant, 1990-1993 Lecturer, 1993-1997 Assistant Prof., 1997-2004 Associate Prof., 2004 to now Professor of composite materials.

Prof. Khashaba is reviewer to many Int. journals such as Composites Part A, Materials Science & Engineering A, J. Composite Materials, J. Thermoplastic Composite Materials. He was a visiting Professor to NIU (2001, 2002) and AAMU (2004, 2006), USA as a counterpart in many US-Egypt Projects.
